8 SURE WAYS TO KEEP YOUR TEETH HEALTHY AND STRONG

A healthy teeth is very important and priceless to everyone.

The teeth is located in the mouth and it is one of the most important part of the human body as it helps in the chewing, tearing, cutting and grinding of various kinds of food.

There is a surface of your teeth called the enamel which aids to protect the teeth from decaying and rotting. The wear and tear of the teeth and its gum is very abnormal, and there are lots of ways one can adhere to in order to keep the teeth healthy and strong.

Below are very easy steps for a healthy mouth in general and a cute smile.

  1. LESS INTAKE OF SUGARY DRINKS AND FOODS
    There are lots of bacteria in the mouth and they feed on sugar from foods and drinks. Then these microorganisms produce harmful acids, which would soften and wear away the enamel.

Avoid sugary foods for a healthy teeth

Chocolate candies, sweets and bars that stick to your teeth after eating them are harmful and can also cause lots of damage. Soft drinks may have a little more acids too.

Soft drinks containing artificial sweeteners are actually a better choice than ones containing sugar, but sadly, they are also acidic and will cause the wear and tear of the enamel over a period of time.

The best choice when you’re thirsty is a cup of plain, clean water. A lot of flavored waters sold out there are dangerously acidic.

  1. MAKE SURE TO USE A TOOTHPASTE THAT CONTAINS FLUORIDE WHILE BRUSHING YOUR TEETH.
    Fluoride is referred to as “nature’s cavity fighter” because it helps to strengthen your enamel and also aids in the repair of the early stages of tooth decay.
    It also makes your teeth more resistant to dangerous acids that come from foods and from bacteria in your mouth.

Fluoride toothpastes are essential for a healthy teeth

Rinsing your mouth with a fluoride containing mouthwash can also help to prevent cavities and keep your teeth healthy and strong.

    When swimming pools are not well chlorinated or chlorinated properly, the water may become very acidi and if that happens, it can cause damages to the teeth whenever it gets wet.

While swimming, always endeavor to keep your mouth closed so that your teeth do not get wet thereby causing damages to the teeth.
